Position Summary: The Preschool Director is responsible for developing, promoting, and implementing a comprehensive Parent and Kids Ministry of reaching, teaching, and ministering to children, birth – Pre-Kindergarten.
Ministry Department: Groups
Position Reports To: Campus Pastor, with ministry DNA oversite from the NextGen Pastor
Hours: This is a 24-hour part-time position. Attendance at all Sunday and mid-week services and special events are required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Innovate, plan, and carry out events and programs with the intent of reaching children and their families with the Gospel.
2. Provide evangelistic training to Preschool Ministry workers.
3. Create a means to assimilate children into Groups and equip children’s leaders in evangelism.
4. Schedule and deliver team orientation and ongoing training for volunteers involved in the Kids Ministry on a regular basis.
5. Organize and lead the Preschool Ministry by maintaining and expanding the Preschool Groups ministry and Preschool Ministry in general.
6. Schedule and conduct parenting and family enrichment activities to disciple parents to provide Godly leadership in their homes.
7. Continually evaluate the Preschool Ministry at Liberty to judge and improve effectiveness in reaching, teaching and ministering to children and their families.
8. Assist in developing and maintaining a budget for the Preschool portion of the Kids Ministry.
9. Refine and implement check-in procedures for children for services and special events to maintain a safe and secure environment for children and their families.
10. Maintain and improve volunteer screening processes to ensure the safety of children.

The job will primarily be carried out in an office setting and require sitting, standing, as well as bending, and carrying some moderately heavy items.
